UX/UI Developer
Job Description
At MANTECH, the UX/UI Developer will shape how operators interact with AI-enabled systems across cloud, edge, and classified environments. This role emphasizes user-centered design to craft mission interfaces, dashboards, and operator experiences that support seamless human–machine collaboration. The position is based onsite in Washington, DC, underscoring a hands-on, cross-functional environment focused on mission-critical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end UX/UI design and development of mission interfaces and AI-enabled systems.
- Create intuitive interfaces that support complex human–machine teaming workflows.
- Build visualizations of mission workflows, interactive dashboards, and reporting UIs.
- Apply user-centered design principles through prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement.
- Perform hands-on front-end development using modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Django.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, HCI, or a related field.
- 3 or more years of experience in UX/UI design and front-end development.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and data visualization frameworks.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design and development of complex data or enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework.

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance Requirements
- For onsite work, a TS/SCI clearance with Poly will be required.
Physical Requirements
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
