Job Description

Senior TAK/TAK full-stack developer at Booz Allen Hamilton responsible for delivering software and systems from vision to production in an agile environment, applying modern architectural approaches to help clients overcome challenging problems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver software and systems from vision to production-ready state.
  • Continuously learn and apply new tools and techniques.
  • Identify necessary system improvements.
  • Help clients tackle their toughest challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies.
  • Ensure the solution aligns with the current architecture and operating environment while planning for future functionality and enhancements.
  • Collaborate as we shape robust systems for the future.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of object-oriented software development experience in Java and Python.
  • 1+ years of experience developing the Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) software development kit.
  • 1+ years within the Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) ecosystem.
  • 1+ years of experience developing native Android applications.
  • Experience profiling UI, memory, and concurrency on Android.
  • Experience with on-device database management using SQLite.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Compensation

Salary is determined by factors including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is USD 86,800 to 198,000 per year (annualized). The estimate shown represents the typical salary range for this role and is one component of Booz Allen's total compensation.
