Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation invites applications for a remote, contract role as a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer. In this position, you will contribute to training AI models and chatbots by designing diverse coding problems, producing clear code samples with explanations, and evaluating AI-generated code. The role offers remote work, flexible scheduling, and hourly pay on a project basis, with rates ranging from USD 50 to 100 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Design and tackle a range of coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Produce clear, well-structured code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
• Deliver feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
