Job Description

DataAnnotation invites applications for a remote, contract role as a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer. In this position, you will contribute to training AI models and chatbots by designing diverse coding problems, producing clear code samples with explanations, and evaluating AI-generated code. The role offers remote work, flexible scheduling, and hourly pay on a project basis, with rates ranging from USD 50 to 100 per hour.

Responsibilities

Design and tackle a range of coding problems used to train AI systems.
Produce clear, well-structured code snippets accompanied by thorough explanations.
Assess AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and readability.
Deliver feedback that informs the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

Fluency in English at native or bilingual level.
Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
Strong writing and grammar skills.
A bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
