Sr. BI and Visualization Developer

Join A G EMPLOYVISION as a Senior BI & Visualization Developer and help shape analytics that leaders can trust and act on. This hybrid role in Newtown Square, PA focuses on executive dashboards, business intelligence solutions, and clear data visualizations. You will partner closely with executives and technical teams to translate strategic objectives into measurable KPIs, reliable reporting, and actionable insights.

What you’ll do

• Partner directly with executives, business leaders, and functional teams to understand strategic objectives and reporting needs.
• Run requirements gathering workshops and turn business questions into analytical solutions.
• Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, dimensions, and business rules.
• Design, develop, and maintain executive, operational, and departmental dashboards.
• Create interactive reports, scorecards, and self-service analytics solutions.
• Build scalable semantic models, datasets, data marts, and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimize Power BI, Tableau, or Fabric reporting environments.
• Apply best practices in data storytelling, user experience, and dashboard design to communicate complex information clearly.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, performance drivers, root causes, and emerging opportunities.
• Present findings, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership in a business-friendly manner.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions, enterprise KPIs, and business definitions.
• Implement reporting standards, visualization guidelines, and governance practices, and collaborate with data governance and data quality teams.
• Support security, compliance, and data access requirements.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and business definitions.
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Data Governance, Product, PMO, and Business teams.
• Mentor junior BI developers and analysts and promote analytics and visualization best practices.
• Contribute to BI roadmap planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, or Data Visualization.
• 5+ years developing executive dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Proven experience supporting senior executives and business leaders.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage stakeholder relationships and analytics projects.
• Expert-level Power BI development (Fabric preferred) and strong Tableau experience.
• Advanced SQL development skills.
• Experience with semantic modeling and dimensional modeling.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud analytics platforms.
• DAX, Power Query, and visualization optimization expertise.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.

Location and pay

Work location: Hybrid remote in Newtown Square, PA 19073

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in Healthcare, Payer, Provider, Pharmacy, Financial Services, or Regulatory analytics.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
• Knowledge of KPI frameworks, balanced scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Experience implementing self-service BI programs.
• Familiarity with Data Governance and Data Quality platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale BI environments.
