Sr. Angular UI Developer

Senior Angular UI Developer (contract) in NYC, focusing on enterprise SPA development with Angular/TypeScript, Azure integration, and AI-enabled workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the Angular based user interface for enterprise SPA applications
• Develop reusable UI components, services, and modules in line with Angular best practices
• Integrate the frontend with backend APIs exposed by the Custom Orchestrator
• Implement authentication and authorization using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Managed Identity patterns
• Manage secrets and configuration with Azure Key Vault
• Design intuitive dashboards and agent driven workflows
• Create data visualizations for AI generated reporting and insights
• Connect UI workflows with Azure AI services and agent outputs via the orchestration layer
• Ensure responsive design and accessibility across devices and browsers
• Collaborate with backend engineers, AI engineers, and platform architects to deliver features end to end
• Optimize UI performance when interacting with AI driven services and large datasets
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes integrated with Git repositories and Azure ADO
• Provide technical guidance to a junior developer, reviewing code and aligning with Angular practices and architecture

Requirements

• Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI design patterns
• Experience building enterprise level single page applications
• Experience integrating REST APIs and asynchronous services
• Familiarity with authentication using Microsoft Entra ID or OAuth based systems
• Experience working with Azure based applications
• Experience with RxJS for real time data streaming
• Understanding of state management and modular architecture in Angular
• Experience using Git and Azure ADO pipelines
• Experience with AI or LLM powered applications
• Familiarity with LangGraph, agent driven workflows, or orchestration patterns
• Experience building dashboards or data heavy enterprise tools
• Knowledge of Azure AI services such as GPT models or embeddings
• Familiarity with enterprise knowledge systems such as SharePoint or vector search platforms
