Responsibilities
- Provide support to other TRG departments as directed
- Participate as a response member for immediate emergency response deployment as needed
- Be available for planned and unplanned exercises as directed
- Respond to and manage all TRG and client communications
- Develop proficiency in IAP Software and gain a basic understanding of other TRG products and services
- Develop and ensure accurate and professional deliverables for clients
- Acquire and maintain a basic understanding of TRG products and services
- Collect, clarify, and document business requirements
- Analyze data and design databases to store, process, and query data effectively
- Troubleshoot application issues and production errors, including high level critical issues requiring immediate attention
- Provide technical documentation as needed
- Maintain client confidence and protect confidentiality of information
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
- Serve under direction of the Vice President of Software Development and perform additional duties as required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SQL database development using MS SQL Server, including writing stored procedures, functions, and complex queries
- 1+ years of experience developing reports with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
- Experience with common MS SQL Server database administration tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to acquire thorough knowledge of applications, systems and tools used at The Response Group
- Ability to work independently as well as in a small team with minimal supervision
- Adaptability to changes in application requirements

Qualifications
- Education: BS or BA Degree in Software Engineering or related field
- Experience: SQL Development 3 years (Required); SSRS 1 year (Required); Database administration 3 years (Preferred)
