The position is based onsite in O'Fallon, Missouri, with full-time hours and a clear path to grow within a dedicated data and analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement SQL Server databases aligned to business requirements under guidance from a Senior or Project Manager
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data integration between sources and the SQL Server database
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues with a focus on performance tuning
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database designs, queries, and procedures
• Execute and organize daily data builds based on end-user tickets
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions
• Develop and maintain Power BI or equivalent reports to provide actionable insights
• Analyze data to support decision making across the organization
• Manage and maintain version control of database scripts and objects

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in SQL development and a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 3–5 years of industry experience
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
