SQL Developer supporting enterprise database solutions for Navy submarine programs with a hybrid work arrangement and clearance requirements.

Create, modify, and maintain relational database objects in third normal form (3NF).
Develop and execute SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and scripts.
Work with SQL and NoSQL interfaces including MS SQL Server Management Studio, Hue/Impala, SQL*Plus, and related tools.
Modify, load, delete, and query data within DataBricks and MS SQL Server environments.
Upload and integrate records from flat files, APIs, and cross-database schemas.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for data issues.
Conduct database performance tuning and optimization to improve query efficiency and system responsiveness.
Respond to change requests, system enhancements, and bug fixes in a timely manner.
Support database deployments, testing, and migration activities.
Collaborate with development and business teams to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.
Maintain technical documentation related to database structures, processes, and procedures.

U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (post-employment).
Bachelor’s degree required; High School Diploma with 9+ years of relevant experience acceptable.
Five (5) or more years of experience in relational database development and data handling across 3NF, SQL/NoSQL interfaces, DataBricks and MS SQL Server, including data from flat files and APIs and data integration.
Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and data integrity principles.
Experience writing complex SQL queries and troubleshooting database issues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
