Software Engineer Staff - Level 4 (Top Secret)
Job Description
This onsite role in King of Prussia, PA places a senior software engineer on a Lockheed Martin Space Agile Scrum team, developing and deploying software to support a complex space system under TS/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Generate and simulate operational level plans to explore feasible approaches for defending space assets in a potential future conflict
- Dynamically optimize terrestrial and space-based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
- Strategically optimize the placement and maneuvering of satellite constellations to meet evolving priorities
- Rapidly develop and deploy solutions for a complex space system following core engineering principles
- Enable delivery of fully functioning mission capability to end users in a secure and continuous manner
Requirements
- Software development experience in Java, C++, JavaScript, and Python
- Experience with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build and configuration tools (GitLab, ArgoCD)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Current Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance
- This position is located at a facility requiring special access
