Job Description
Build and evolve complex software systems at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), including RF signal processing and analytics tooling, in an onsite role in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, including processing-heavy analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large datasets, real-time systems, and business management information systems
- Support and contribute to cutting-edge development programs by designing and implementing new solutions
- Advance RF signal processing applications
- Create analytics, visualization, and discovery tools
- Integrate new and legacy software across multiple hardware form factors
- Review and test software components to confirm alignment with design requirements, document test results, and resolve software problem reports
- Provide input to software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse strategies, and appropriate use of COTS/GOTS instead of new development
- Support requirements analysis and synthesis from system level down to individual software components
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
- Demonstrated experience with RF signal processing applications
- Proficiency developing in Linux environments
- Proficiency coding in one or more of: Python, C++, Java, JavaScript
Required Education and Experience
- Seven (7) years of experience as a SWE on small-scale (5-20 member) and medium-scale (20-100 member) development teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- May substitute Four (4) additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes for the Bachelor’s degree

- Experience with Software-Defined Radio (SDR) programming
- Experience with geospatial processing
- Experience coding 2D and 3D image displays
- Experience with GitLab, GitHub, or similar version control tools
- Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar project management tools

- Contingent upon program award: Yes
- Base salary range: USD 156,000 - 195,000 per year
- Compensation note: Pay is based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
