Software Engineer III with TS/SCI Polygraph
Job Description
Software Engineer III on Deloitte's Process Engineering and Automation team designs, builds, and maintains secure, scalable applications, including AI-enabled websites, internal tools, dashboards, and APIs, across the full software development life cycle in a compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and sustain full‑stack web applications, covering user interfaces, databases, and server-side services, aligned to program requirements and security standards
- Own assigned features across the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment support, and ongoing maintenance
- Develop and enhance applications using Python, HTML, CSS, .NET, and PowerShell, with security controls and secure coding practices embedded throughout
- Integrate AI capabilities into applications, including large language model features, agentic workflows, intelligent search, and AI‑assisted user experiences
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests; participate in code reviews; document APIs, data models, and architectural decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of application development experience, including test‑driven development
- 4+ years of experience with Python and full‑stack web technologies, including React, HTML, CSS, .NET, and APIs
- 4+ years across the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
- Ability to travel approximately 10‑25% based on client needs and engagements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future

- Experience with PostgreSQL schema design and relational database development
- Experience building applications with React and .NET
- Experience implementing security controls aligned to OWASP Top 10 guidance
- Experience integrating large language model capabilities, agentic workflows, or intelligent search into applications
- Experience writing unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests in a CI/CD environment
- Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation or security review processes in classified environments
