Cintas is hiring a Software Engineer II to build and improve software applications in partnership with business and technical teams.

Work with Business Analysts and stakeholders to evaluate requirements, estimate effort, and shape technical solutions
Design, develop, document, test, maintain, and enhance software applications and modules
Review current systems and propose improvements, best practices, and innovative approaches
Support application quality through code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and alignment with architectural standards
Deliver Tier II application support by troubleshooting issues and implementing effective resolutions
Mentor less experienced team members and communicate project status to business partners and leadership

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology
Experience developing and maintaining software applications
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Must be authorized to work in the US; unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
Willingness to work onsite in the Mason, Ohio office 5 days per week

Experience working across multiple technical environments and business functions
Experience providing technical coaching or mentoring to other developers
