Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Software Developer for a 200+ FTE technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs and IdAM/ICAM capabilities. This onsite role focuses on modernizing legacy applications and delivering secure, reliable IT systems through AWS-based solutions and Agile & Scrum execution.

Compensation
USD 131,300 - 237,350 per yearly
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
Role Summary
The program supports Entitlement Programs and Identity and Access Management (IdAM/ICAM), including Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, and Digital Policy Management. The position will modernize legacy systems and implement secure, reliable IT solutions using AWS and related technologies while working within Agile & Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and modernize legacy applications
- Write and develop custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
- Leverage Amazon Web Services to support application and infrastructure needs
- Design and utilize a custom ETL methodology
- Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
- Develop Java and Angular (TypeScript) applications using Elasticsearch
- Perform unit testing and participate in peer code reviews
- Use automated testing frameworks such as Selenium
- Apply strong communication, design, and documentation practices
- Use strong organization, time management, and workflow management skills
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver technically sound solutions
- Methodically assess technical challenges within a collaborative team environment
- Work within the parameters of Agile & Scrum methodologies
- Mentor junior developers on community best practices
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- BS degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience in lieu of degree)
- Full Stack Development
- Experience with multiple programming languages, including Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (TypeScript), plus AWS
- Experience reading and developing solutions to satisfy customer requirements and specifications
- Experience working in Command Line (RH Linux)
- Experience developing custom ETL methodology
- Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, Git, and Jenkins
