Software Engineer – Data Engineer (Multiple Openings)

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories is seeking a Software Engineer – Data Engineer for roles based at its Moscow, Idaho headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Create specifications, designs, implementations, and documentation for a range of company data solutions.
• Design normalized, relational and/or dimensional data models for OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop enterprise reporting models.
• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that transfer data from multiple sources while supporting accuracy, consistency, and security.
• Administer and optimize data solutions for performance and scalability.
• Develop solutions using tools and platforms including: SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Stream Analytics, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI Premium.

Onsite Location Details
