Software Engineer - Build and Release
Job Description
Build and Release Software Engineer role in Sunnyvale, CA, focused on CI, build/release automation, and developer productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead new build and release initiatives, including improvements to continuous integration, developer productivity, and code quality
- Develop and maintain custom Git workflows for a large, highly dynamic repository
- Partner with Software Managers, Developers, and Test Engineers to support release cadence, traceability, and quality
- Support software release activities, including documentation and impact analyses
Requirements
- Experience in software development using Python, Java, Groovy, or C/C++
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Hands-on Linux experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or related discipline with relevant experience

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 117,000 - 186,300 per year
- Base compensation range: Region 1: $137,700 - $186,300; Region 2: $117,000 - $158,400
- Compensation packages may include base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity
