Build and Release Software Engineer role in Sunnyvale, CA, focused on CI, build/release automation, and developer productivity.

Lead new build and release initiatives, including improvements to continuous integration, developer productivity, and code quality
Develop and maintain custom Git workflows for a large, highly dynamic repository
Partner with Software Managers, Developers, and Test Engineers to support release cadence, traceability, and quality
Support software release activities, including documentation and impact analyses

Experience in software development using Python, Java, Groovy, or C/C++
Experience troubleshooting complex systems
Strong communication and analytical skills
Hands-on Linux experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or related discipline with relevant experience

Experience with software build and release processes
Experience working with embedded and/or electromechanical systems
Experience with Git, Docker, Bazel, Jenkins, Elasticsearch, or Ansible
Experience developing C/C++ on a variety of embedded platforms
Experience designing software products in an FDA or other regulated industry

Salary range: USD 117,000 - 186,300 per year
Base compensation range: Region 1: $137,700 - $186,300; Region 2: $117,000 - $158,400
Compensation packages may include base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity
