Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded avionics software in C++ with an emphasis on RFIO integration
• Carry out software development in DO-178C framework, with a preference for DAL A
• Define and manage requirements using DOORS
• Support software certification artifacts including plans, requirements, and traceability
• Participate in code reviews, builds, and configuration management activities
• Assist with flight test integration, interpreting aircraft wiring and data flows
• Support software testing using Python

Requirements

• Strong DO-178C experience and familiarity with the embedded software development lifecycle
• Proficiency in C and C++, build systems, and compiler configurations
• Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and configuration management tools
• Familiarity with certification and documentation environments
• Experience in signal processing, FPGA interfacing through hardware registers, and RFIO
• Proficiency in Python
