Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded avionics software in C++ with an emphasis on RFIO integration
- Carry out software development in DO-178C framework, with a preference for DAL A
- Define and manage requirements using DOORS
- Support software certification artifacts including plans, requirements, and traceability
- Participate in code reviews, builds, and configuration management activities
- Assist with flight test integration, interpreting aircraft wiring and data flows
- Support software testing using Python
Requirements
- Strong DO-178C experience and familiarity with the embedded software development lifecycle
- Proficiency in C and C++, build systems, and compiler configurations
- Experience with JIRA, Bitbucket, and configuration management tools
- Familiarity with certification and documentation environments
- Experience in signal processing, FPGA interfacing through hardware registers, and RFIO
- Proficiency in Python
