Software Engineer Analyst - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation is expanding its AI training program with a contract role that blends software engineering with AI pedagogy. Based in Sterling, Virginia, this position offers fully remote work and flexible scheduling, with compensation on an hourly basis through DataAnnotation's platform.

The role focuses on designing and solving coding problems used to train AI systems, delivering clear code snippets with explanations, and assessing AI-generated code for accuracy and clarity. It also provides feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
• Provide feedback that directly shapes the next generation of AI models.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Excellent writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
