Software Engineer 4 (Admin IT) (TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly)

Responsibilities

• Break down intricate requirements to evaluate system impact and scope
• Lead the development of technical design artifacts using Object-Oriented principles
• Ensure new features integrate smoothly while reducing technical debt
• Act as the feature lead for new platform capabilities
• Steer features from initial concept through development, testing, and deployment
• Own feature completion and delivery standards
• Serve as the technical liaison with Systems Engineering teams
• Coordinate technical approaches, dependencies, and implementation constraints
• Decompose high-level feature designs into actionable development tasks
• Track feature status and reporting for leadership
• Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers
• Review merge requests to uphold coding standards, security compliance, and performance benchmarks

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
• Expert-level experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred) and Spring Boot
• Strong foundation in SOLID principles and Object-Oriented design patterns
• Deep knowledge of REST interface standards and API best practices
• Effective communicator with the ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to clearly convey architecture and design concepts
• Experience authoring technical documentation including wiki content, blogs, XML, and HTML documentation

USD 200,000 - 215,000 per year
