Job Description
Responsibilities
- Break down intricate requirements to evaluate system impact and scope
- Lead the development of technical design artifacts using Object-Oriented principles
- Ensure new features integrate smoothly while reducing technical debt
- Act as the feature lead for new platform capabilities
- Steer features from initial concept through development, testing, and deployment
- Own feature completion and delivery standards
- Serve as the technical liaison with Systems Engineering teams
- Coordinate technical approaches, dependencies, and implementation constraints
- Decompose high-level feature designs into actionable development tasks
- Track feature status and reporting for leadership
- Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers
- Review merge requests to uphold coding standards, security compliance, and performance benchmarks
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
- Expert-level experience with Java (Java 17+ preferred) and Spring Boot
- Strong foundation in SOLID principles and Object-Oriented design patterns
- Deep knowledge of REST interface standards and API best practices
- Effective communicator with the ability to facilitate cross-team collaboration
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to clearly convey architecture and design concepts
- Experience authoring technical documentation including wiki content, blogs, XML, and HTML documentation

Pay
USD 200,000 - 215,000 per year
