Software Engineer

Dialogue AI is seeking a Software Engineer in Los Angeles, CA (onsite) to build a customer-first product across product, infrastructure, and AI. The role emphasizes product ownership, close collaboration with a founding team, and help shaping team culture as the company scales.

Role Overview

Dialogue AI is building the future of customer research. The platform brings together AI agents to help create studies, conduct interviews, and extract meaningful insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a customer-first product by working across product, infrastructure, and AI
• Collaborate directly with a founding team from leading tech companies and universities, contributing to both product direction and team culture
• Own significant product work across the lifecycle, from planning through implementation
• Help define the team’s culture from day one

Requirements

• Ability to work across the full stack, including frontend, backend, and AI
• Experience using modern AI tools such as Claude Code and Codex, with the ability to adapt quickly
• Self-motivated and career driven, with readiness to take on outsized responsibility
• Strong customer focus with a product and design mindset
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Bonus: experience with AI/ML development
• Open to candidates of all experience levels
