Job Description
Build and maintain full-stack software for Trane Technologies’ Commercial Chiller organization, including performance prediction and bill of material optimization, plus internal tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering to translate engineering requirements into software solutions
- Partner with product support to understand customer needs and customer-facing issues
- Work with IT to resolve integration issues
- Support and troubleshoot field issues related to the software
- Continuously improve application speed and deliver new capabilities
- Explore, evaluate, and help drive adoption of best practices
- Coach and mentor team members
- Participate in and manage the commercial software release process
- Participate in project planning to develop solutions aligned with goals and objectives
- Estimate work and effort for project planning
- Use version control in daily development workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical degree
- 2+ years of relevant software development experience, preferably for engineering use
- Strong proficiency in at least one: C#, Java, C++, Python
- Familiarity with full-stack web development, including SPA architecture
- Experience developing and testing in an Agile methodology with remote teams
- Experience developing on Azure, AWS, GCP, or other cloud platforms
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience across the Software Lifecycle (development, deployments, sunsets)

Compensation
- Salary: USD 65,200 - 118,860 per year
