Software Engineer

Software Engineer role supporting strategic research and development by transitioning open source prototypes and algorithms into a proprietary partner infrastructure for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Install externally developed web applications on cloud environment infrastructure
• Ensure web applications communicate with external and internal databases using API keys
• Modify web applications as required and operate independently on project needs
• Provide front-end development to host models and connect APIs for demos and software tool transition
• Integrate AI/ML models with front-end development
• Travel: local travel or POV as needed within the local place of performance

Requirements

• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• U.S. citizenship required (no exceptions)
• Experience with full stack web development using one or more of: JavaScript, PHP, R, Python, NodeJS, MongoDB
• Experience with client-side code such as Angular, Bootstrap, Material, jQuery
• Experience with REST APIs and data ETL
• Experience with Linux System Administration and scripting languages such as Bash
• Experience with NoSQL and MySQL databases
• Experience with web application installation and deployment
• Experience with web-based software development
• Hands-on experience working within cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar
• Experience and knowledge of AI/ML models

Salary

• USD 160,000 - 200,000 per yearly
