Software Engineer

Integrated Systems Design is looking for a Software Engineer to support the creation and ongoing maintenance of customer systems. The role sits onsite in Wixom, MI and spans back-end development, API work, and front-end web development, along with communication to PLCs and industrial protocols.

You will work across Microsoft SQL Server, C#/.NET, REST APIs, and front-end technologies including Blazor, while also handling integrations that involve factory automation and industrial communication.

Responsibilities

• Help create and maintain customer systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or similar degree), a concentration in a technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience with data modeling, query design/optimization, stored procedures, functions, and scripting in Microsoft SQL Server databases
• 5+ years experience in a C#/.NET development environment
• 5+ years experience with REST API design and development
• 5+ years experience with Front-End web development with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and Blazor
• 3+ years experience communicating with PLCs
• 1+ year experience with OPC UA and MQTT
• Experience in factory automation
• Experience in material handling
