Responsibilities

• Develop and validate integrations focused on HR data, reading, analyzing, designing, building, testing, and debugging across internal and external systems.
• Implement applications using web service approaches including XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath, and related technologies.
• Create user friendly front ends with scripting languages and modern front-end frameworks and libraries.
• Develop and maintain server side logic and APIs.
• Oversee HR data databases within the technology landscape across subscribing systems.
• Participate in project work and DevOps delivery from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Lead business and stakeholder teams to translate requirements into technical solutions, aligning with best practices and industry standards.
• Perform fit-gap analyses to identify automation opportunities and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with various teams, including third party vendors, Enterprise Applications and Infrastructure, on projects and day-to-day deliverables.
• Mentor junior team members to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
• Analyze data points to influence critical decisions and effective project outcomes.
• Foster client and peer relationships and partner with other teams to deliver mission critical applications.
• Lead support efforts to troubleshoot incidents, performing root cause analyses and implementing solutions.
• Contribute to impact analysis during application release cycles.
• Own comprehensive technical documentation for integrations and related applications, including versioning and archiving.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience developing software applications.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring systems.
• 5+ years of experience with technologies such as OData, REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, CSV, XML, JSON, XSL, and encryption standards like PGP and X.509.
• 5+ years of experience working with JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and libraries such as React.js, Angular, and jQuery.
• 5+ years of server-side programming with .NET, Java, Ruby, and Python.
• 3+ years of experience in API development using web services and SOA methodologies.
• 3+ years of database experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL, plus caching mechanisms (server, browser, CDN, query, in-memory like Redis or Memcached).
• Experience across the full testing lifecycle including Unit Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, and Defect Remediation.
• Comfortable with Agile and Waterfall project delivery styles.
• Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and related SDLC methodologies.
• Expertise in secure software development and secure coding practices.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Strong liaison skills between business and technology teams.
• Commitment to staying current with new technologies and sharing knowledge with peers.
• Problem solving, analytical thinking, and results-driven mindset with an innovative approach.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities, able to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrix organization.
• Strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities; capable of working independently with minimal guidance.
• Educational requirement: BS in a STEM field.
