Software Engineer

In this Software Engineer role, you will design and build scalable software with Java, Spring Boot, and Python, creating microservices and cloud‑native applications in close collaboration with Product, Design, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver AI enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and Python
• Develop and optimize microservices and APIs with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Kafka to support high‑throughput, event‑driven architectures
• Utilize AWS and Google Cloud services to deliver secure, resilient cloud‑native applications
• Implement containerization and orchestration strategies with Docker and Kubernetes
• Integrate MongoDB and Vault for data persistence and secure secrets management
• Apply AI/ML tools and APIs to enhance product intelligence and automation
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools to streamline builds, testing, and productivity
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and DevOps Engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure reliability and scalability
• Document system designs, technical decisions, and implementation details for knowledge sharing
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence
• Adhere to company policies and evolving directives, including team changes, work location flexibility, and shift adjustments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 4+ years strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Kafka for backend development
• 3+ years exposure to modern architectural patterns such as microservices, serverless computing, and event‑driven architecture
• 3+ years knowledge deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms
• 3+ years experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration for scalable deployment
• 2+ years experience with MongoDB and secure secrets management using Vault
• 2+ years familiarity with AI/ML tools and integrating them into the software development life cycle
• 2+ years experience with modern development productivity tools, including AI‑assisted coding platforms
• 2+ years experience with performance optimization, monitoring, and logging tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace
