Software Engineer
Job Description
This Software Engineer position provides Independent Verification and Validation support for CAST Lessons used on shipboard systems, based in Dahlgren, VA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct IV&V analysis of operator training modules using government furnished equipment
- Identify content discrepancies and relay findings to lesson originators and SCSTC for validation and revision
- Participate in adjudication meetings to review CAST IV&V outcomes
- Update operator lessons through the life cycle when issues are found
- Coordinate and communicate with customers, management, and team members
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship with an Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of three years of combat system shipboard experience on an AEGIS platform, including CIC watchstanding
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and results
- Solid organizational, task-tracking, and follow-up skills

Overview
SCCI is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Surface Combat Systems Training Center in performing IV&V of CAST Lessons for use aboard shipboard systems. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA and onsite in King George, VA.
