Junior Software Engineer

Join a team at VOCAL Technologies Inc. building telecommunications solutions in a hands-on, onsite role in Buffalo, NY. This full-time Junior Software Engineer position supports the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of software systems, along with the creation of tools that streamline code building and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to deliver a solution that meets and exceeds their needs.
• Design and implement software solutions to telecommunications problems.
• Maintain and improve existing software solutions over time.
• Code and test software modules of significant size and complexity.
• Create software tools that support code building and maintenance.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience with C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Embedded Systems.
• Experience capturing and debugging network traffic.
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems.
• Experience with Digital Signal Processing algorithms.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with C/C++ programming languages.

Work will involve C/C++, Embedded Systems, Real Time Operating Systems, Digital Signal Processing algorithms, network traffic, and Security Clearance.

Location and Work Details

This role is onsite in Buffalo, NY 14228 and requires your ability to commute. Relocation to Buffalo, NY 14228 before starting work is preferred. Full-time and in-person work location.
