Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI driven software products that deliver advanced capabilities to customers
• Contribute across the full system development lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation, integration, and flight testing
• Engage in activities ranging from proof of concept and prototype work to demonstrators and production handoff
• Apply modern computer science concepts, including object oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms, to create robust, innovative solutions
• Work with concurrency including threaded and multi processing, and be familiar with I/O, storage networks, and databases
• Assume technical lead responsibilities and mentor junior engineers as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience with Angular, React, or Node
• U.S. citizenship required

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin offers flexible scheduling options, ranging from standard 40 hours across five days to condensed schedules that provide additional time away from the office, in addition to paid time off benefits.

Pay Rate

Annual base salary range is $89,300 to $157,435. For states not listed above, final work location determines the applicable range. Location based ranges apply to California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC.
