Software Developer

TherapyNotes.com is hiring a Software Developer to join our onsite team in Philadelphia. You will build scalable, responsive web applications and services using Angular and ASP.NET Core, contributing to architecture, APIs, and full-stack development within an Agile environment. The role offers a salary range of $65,000 to $115,000 per year and requires a BS and/or MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Engage in full-stack development across the front end, business logic, and data access layers.
• Own the complete development lifecycle from planning through release and ongoing support.
• Actively participate in software architecture decisions, design strategies, and code reviews to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with fellow developers and stakeholders.
• Maintain high standards, accuracy, and attention to detail in all work.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience developing software in an Agile, team-based environment.
• 1 or more years of experience developing responsive web applications.
• Expertise with Angular, ASP.NET Core, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, SASS, and HTML.
• BS and/or MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.
• Experience building robust APIs and adhering to Service-Oriented Architecture principles.
• Familiarity with event-based software design and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, and Entity Framework Core or similar ORM frameworks.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
