Software Developer

Software Developer role onsite at Maxwell AFB, Montgomery, AL for Vision Technology Inc.

Responsibilities

• Write and modify software code
• Develop and execute test scripts
• Apply testing protocols such as regression testing and end user validation based on client input
• Manage participant data to ensure redundancy, currency, and integrity
• Facilitate data uploads from AF level personnel systems (MilPDS, eMentor, DMDC)
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect participant records per Air Force guidelines
• Maintain awareness of Air Force communications, cybersecurity, and related guidelines to ensure database compliance
• Provide specialized and self service reporting to clients and training partners
• Create and modify accounts and data profiles for staff and participants; develop metrics reporting and data queries
• Recommend changes to LEADeR and track client change requests for process improvement and technology adoption
• Contribute to and execute guidance from monthly Configuration Control Boards (CCB)

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong web application development skills, cloud experience preferred
• Oracle and Java certified
• SEC+ certified
• Microsoft Office 2019 Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access certification or equivalent proficiency
• Available to start ASAP or within one month
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
