SharePoint Portal Developer

Contract overview

This engagement is a 3-month contract with a part-time commitment of 20–30 hours per week. The position is on site in Maplewood, Minnesota, with scheduling to be determined and a preference for morning availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a global Engineering SharePoint site featuring multiple pages and intuitive navigation.
• Organize content to support Capital Engineering workflows and governance standards.
• Create and link Microsoft Office documents (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) within the SharePoint environment.
• Develop process documentation and flowcharts to clearly illustrate engineering workflows and procedures.
• Integrate Power BI dashboards to present key engineering and operational metrics.
• Ensure the site is user-friendly, well-structured, and aligned with stakeholder requirements.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience building and configuring SharePoint sites, with SharePoint Online preferred.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience creating process flowcharts (Visio or similar tools).
• Experience embedding or integrating Power BI dashboards into SharePoint.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Education

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour.

Work location

Onsite in Maplewood, MN 55119. Schedule TBD with morning availability preferred.
