ServiceNow Developer

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM from a remote location within the continental United States.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom scoped applications.
• Build workflows with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Process Automation Designer where appropriate.
• Write clean, well-tested server-side and client-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Actions.
• Develop scoped applications following platform best practices to avoid global-scope pollution.
• Create integrations with enterprise systems using IntegrationHub spokes, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Servers.
• Develop catalog items, request workflows, and end-to-end fulfillment automation to streamline service requests with proper routing and approvals.
• Implement Service Portal, Employee Center, and custom portal experiences using widgets and AngularJS.
• Develop and maintain CMDB integrations, identification rules, and data quality improvements.
• Implement reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics to provide operational visibility for stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews, contribute to platform standards, and document technical decisions.
• Support upgrades, regression testing, and remediation of customizations across releases.
• Troubleshoot performance, scripting, and integration issues across development, test, and production environments with root-cause analysis and durable fixes.
• Collaborate with admins, BAs, and stakeholders to refine requirements and propose pragmatic technical solutions.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases, features, and emerging best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Five or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript skills including ES5/ES6 patterns used in ServiceNow.
• Deep expertise with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and UI Policies.
• Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
• Hands-on integration experience using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow data model and CMDB concepts.
• Experience with Service Portal widget development.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) credential.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

This is a 100% remote, full-time, direct W2 position with Bright Vision Technologies. The role is part of the in-house SOW engagement with no third-party client, vendor, or implementation partner. C2C, 1099, or third-party arrangements are not permitted. A technical coding assessment is mandatory for all applicants.
