Senior Software Engineer, DevOps

Join ServiceNow as a Senior Software Engineer, DevOps, helping build and scale the Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure and developer platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the Moveworks AI cloud infrastructure and developer platform
• Collaborate with platform, machine learning, search, data, and frontend teams to identify DevOps and infrastructure needs, shape the DevOps roadmap, and lead and execute related projects
• Design, build, and operate multi-region, multi-cloud Moveworks infrastructure with a focus on security, scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost optimization
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using infrastructure as code with full automation to provision and manage the Moveworks application stack across environments
• Partner with the security team to improve the infrastructure security posture

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Hands-on technical approach with strong ownership, proactively leading complex platform and infrastructure initiatives from concept through delivery and measurement
• Strong experience designing and building AWS (or other) cloud infrastructure, including managing AWS security groups, IAM roles, Elastic Load Balancers, Cloud Formation, and other cloud services
• Knowledge of VPN, AWS VPC, DNS, and experience troubleshooting network issues
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and Istio
• Working knowledge of disaster recovery and security topics including data backup and recovery, replication, AWS KMS, certificate management, encryption, penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security tools
• Comfort with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm
• Ability to work in a startup-paced environment on challenging problems with a high degree of ownership

• Work personas are flexible, remote, or required in office depending on work nature and assigned location
