Job Description

Tyler Technologies seeks a Senior Software Engineer for hybrid work in Moraine, OH, supporting the software development life cycle and enterprise application enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Use new technologies and tools to modify products and enable integration with applications built internally and externally
  • Contribute to new application development and enhancements by implementing system features based on system designs
  • Maintain existing programs by fixing defects and resolving operational issues in released and upcoming software
  • Support departmental goals and timelines
  • Complete additional duties as assigned
  • Assure program, module, and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures
  • Work across all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance
  • Prepare and update program and system documentation
  • Analyze, design, write, test, document, and implement application systems that are functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well integrated
  • Provide guidance to less experienced team members to support knowledge transfer and training aligned to department goals

Requirements

  • On-site work at least 3 days per week
  • Remote work up to 2 days per week, limited to the same MSA as the worksite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science and Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience with .Net and C#
  • Experience with JSON and SQL
  • Experience with Angular
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale full-stack web applications across front-end, back-end, database, and API layers
  • Develop automated unit or automated integration tests within enterprise applications
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using layered, service-oriented, or microservices-based architectures
  • Integrate enterprise applications and external systems using API/interface contracts and data exchange technologies such as XML and JSON
