Job Description
MyRegistry.com is investing in modernization across its .NET/C# and React-based systems, with a clear focus on accelerating engineering adoption of AI-assisted development and AI-powered product capabilities. This Senior Software Engineer role is an on-site position in Fort Lauderdale, FL, supporting Azure-hosted services and Azure DevOps CI/CD while partnering with distributed teams across the U.S. and India.
You will help shape a modular, modern application stack, migrate legacy user experiences into current front-end frameworks, and deliver secure, maintainable software with strong testing discipline. With a compensation range of USD 110,000 - 120,000 per year and an experience baseline of 7+ years, this is a hands-on engineering opportunity with room for technical leadership and mentorship.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET / C# and modern React-based front-end frameworks
- Evolve the platform architecture toward a more modular and modern application stack
- Support migration and modernization of legacy user experiences into modern front-end frameworks
- Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code following engineering best practices
- Contribute to API design, service architecture, and distributed systems discussions
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and leadership to translate evolving business needs into practical technical solutions
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the engineering organization
- Design and implement AI-powered product capabilities and integrations
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, developer tooling, and automation opportunities to improve velocity and innovation
- Promote responsible and effective AI use within software engineering workflows
- Develop and support applications hosted within Microsoft Azure environments
- Work with Azure Web Apps, APIs, background services, SQL Server, and related cloud services
- Support CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices using Azure DevOps
- Contribute to performance optimization, monitoring, reliability, and operational improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across the U.S. and India
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to engineers across varying experience levels
- Help improve engineering standards, delivery processes, and development practices
- Own assigned initiatives from technical design through production delivery
What you bring
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building enterprise applications using .NET / C#
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, service-oriented architecture, and distributed systems
- Deep knowledge of MS SQL Server, including query optimization and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Azure-hosted applications and cloud-native development practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively as requirements and priorities evolve over time
- Experience collaborating with distributed engineering teams
