Senior ServiceNow Developer
Job Description
Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design and deliver comprehensive ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and CMDB within a DevSecOps-focused federal program. The position is onsite in Reston, VA, offering a salary range of USD 127,100 to 161,100 per year and requiring a minimum of five years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and scoped applications
- Design, code, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes in a cross-functional agile team
- Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub
- Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and module deployments
- Perform code reviews, define development standards, and enforce security best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues; ensure stability and performance
- Author technical documentation and provide training to stakeholders
- Maintain strict compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other federal security frameworks
- Support software accreditation and maintain application integrity
- Mentor and guide developers within a DevSecOps-focused federal program
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with ServiceNow development
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified System Administrator (must be current)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio; experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps principles
- Experience with RMF and federal software accreditation processes
