Senior OpenText Documentum Application Developer

You will help design, develop, enhance, and maintain solutions that support reliable integrations across enterprise platforms, while building RESTful APIs with modern Java and Spring practices. Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise content management solutions in a cloud-based environment.
• Develop and support Documentum applications.
• Build RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Framework.
• Ensure reliable integrations across enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Perform platform upgrades, troubleshoot complex production issues, and optimize enterprise content management applications.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting OpenText Documentum applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Documentum, including Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
• Experience designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise content management (ECM) applications.
• Solid understanding of Documentum architecture, object models, security, and platform migrations or upgrades.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in Java and Python for enterprise application development.
• Experience working in AWS environments using services including EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, ALB, SSM, and the AWS SDK.
• Ability to troubleshoot cloud deployments by reviewing AWS configurations, security policies, and application logs.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and relational database technologies.
• Knowledge of software architecture, object-oriented design principles, and common design patterns.
• Familiarity with unit testing, code quality practices, deployment automation, vulnerability management, and application monitoring.
• Experience in Agile Scrum teams, including active participation in sprint ceremonies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
