Senior .NET Developer

FSS Government Solutions offers the chance to work on impactful projects that blend .NET, Azure, and AI, with a structured learning path and hands-on mentorship within Microsoft’s AI ecosystem. This onsite, contract role is based in Woodlawn, MD, and positions you to grow into advanced cloud and AI engineering tracks while contributing to a brand-new Microsoft contract for a Federal agency.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs and backend services with clean, maintainable code
• Build and deploy cloud‑native solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Integrate Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and Semantic Kernel
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features in an Agile environment
• Engage in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code
• Continuously improve application performance, security, and scalability

Requirements

• Strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET Core with at least five years of experience
• Extensive experience building REST APIs with .NET 6, 7, or 8
• Solid understanding of clean architecture, Domain-Driven Design, and modern development patterns
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL

Compensation
