You will design and deliver scalable data pipelines and data solutions within the Marketing & Digital domain, powering personalization, campaign optimization, and enterprise analytics on Marriott's cloud-native data platform (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS). This role supports remote work with a Bethesda, Maryland option, and compensation varies by location: Remote from $100,400 to $181,000 per year; Bethesda, MD from $110,400 to $198,900 per year.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate end-to-end data pipelines for marketing use cases, covering ingestion, transformation, and delivery with Airflow and Snowflake
- Create and optimize data models and curated datasets to enable analytics, reporting, and downstream data products
- Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions aligned with platform standards
- Maintain data quality, governance, security, and regulatory compliance across pipelines and datasets
- Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of Snowflake workloads and orchestration workflows
- Support platform modernization initiatives, including automation, standardization, and reusable pipeline frameworks
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices in data engineering, testing, and deployment
Requirements
- Extensive experience building cloud-based data solutions, with AWS and Snowflake preferred
- Hands-on proficiency with data pipeline orchestration using Airflow and modern ETL/ELT patterns
- High proficiency in SQL and data modeling for analytics and reporting
- Strong grasp of data governance, quality, and security principles
- Experience with large-scale distributed data systems supporting analytics or personalization
- Excellent collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams
