Senior Java Developer - Payments

Matlen Silver is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support development activities for Treasury Monitoring and Deposits within the MTS (Money Transfer System) ACI environment. This contract role is based in Charlotte, NC (onsite), with an available location option in Jersey City, NJ, and requires hands-on experience across Java, AWS, Kafka, and Spring Boot.

Role Summary

You will contribute to application development in a payments-focused environment, working on components tied to money transfer and treasury-related systems. The work includes supporting development for Treasury Monitoring and Deposits within the MTS ACI environment.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of software development experience.
• Substantial Payments industry experience (required).
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience working on payment-related systems, applications, or platforms.
• Strong understanding of payments technologies, processes, or financial transaction systems.
