Experis is hiring a Senior Java Backend Developer to strengthen a core development team focused on banking and payment systems. This onsite role in Charlotte, NC supports the delivery of backend services and APIs used for payment processing, including standards-based work across domestic and international flows.
In this position, you will build and enhance Java and Spring Boot microservices, collaborate with cross-functional partners during Agile Scrum ceremonies, and work on banking integration using CBPR+ payment specifications such as PAIN, PACS, and CAMT. You will also apply PL-SQL and RAD tools to improve and extend system functionality.
Responsibilities
- Create and update microservice-based applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for payment processing systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
- Support banking projects, including domestic or international payments aligned to CBPR+ standards (PAIN, PACS, CAMT).
- Use PL-SQL and RAD tools to enhance system capabilities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Core Java backend development.
- Proficiency with Spring Boot and microservice architecture.
- Experience with banking payment systems and CBPR+ standards.
- Knowledge of PL-SQL and RAD tools.
- Familiarity with React JS is a plus.
