Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable enterprise applications with Java as the core language.
• Build backend services using Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop and maintain APIs for application features, system integration, and cross-platform communication.
• Design and manage microservices oriented architectures emphasizing scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work with relational databases, including SQL modeling, data queries, stored procedures, Hibernate/JPA, and database optimization.
• Write clean, secure, and maintainable Java code that adheres to coding standards.
• Support unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and code optimization.
• Contribute to technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and solution planning.
• Collaborate with QA, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote documentation and development best practices.
• Mentor junior developers when needed and support team-wide technical growth.
• Leverage AI tools, automation practices, and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and capabilities.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of hands-on Java application development, back-end development, or enterprise software experience.
• Strong hands-on Java expertise is mandatory.
• Solid experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Proficient understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean coding principles.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and database-driven application development.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Ability to analyze complex requirements, identify technical challenges, and deliver effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Willingness to relocate within the U.S. for project assignments, if required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
