Responsibilities

• Develop modern applications using Next.js with server side rendering or static site generation as appropriate
• Build .NET Core backend services and microservice oriented architectures
• Design and optimize SQL database structures and queries
• Collaborate within Agile / Scrum teams, participating in ceremonies and delivering incremental value
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies, applying DevSecOps principles including secure coding, monitoring, and observability for enterprise production environments
• Work with cloud on Azure and on premises infrastructure, leveraging microservices, Docker containers, and Kubernetes
• Design and maintain content models, workflows, and integrations with Contentful or similar CMS
• Integrate AI and ML capabilities such as recommendation engines, automation, and LLM driven enhancements to improve development efficiency and user experience
• Prototype rapidly to assess feasibility, performance, and user experience before production delivery
• Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and code quality while ensuring accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices
• Build and maintain Power BI website analytics dashboards using Microsoft Fabric components
• Technologies used include Next.js, React.js, .NET Core, RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure, Contentful, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 10+ years of full stack development experience
• Experience in regulated industries such as insurance, healthcare, or financial services is preferred
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining full stack web applications using modern frameworks
• Strong front end development skills with Next.js and React.js
• Hands on experience building backend services using .NET Core microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience deploying and debugging applications in a Kubernetes environment
• Ability to work with SQL databases, including data modeling and integration with application services
• Experience contributing to new digital initiatives with a focus on reliability, long term maintainability, and thoughtful application of emerging tools and technologies
• Ability to translate business and UX requirements into thoughtful technical solutions
• Commitment to building performant, secure, accessible, and high quality applications with accountability for deadlines and deliverables
• Experience supporting production deployments, operational troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and version control
• Exposure to working with headless CMS tools like Contentful
• Exposure to building Power BI dashboards and reports using Microsoft Fabric data sources
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to take ownership of assigned work; identify risks or improvement opportunities and drive solutions independently
• Excellent, proactive communication skills with the ability to work well with technical and non-technical partners at all levels of the organization
