Senior Flutter Developer

Join a contract Senior Flutter Developer role supporting a major cruise line’s mobile application, with a focus on shipping feature ownership and improving the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and story owners to shape feature design and prioritize tasks
• Develop mobile application solutions in Flutter, including defect resolution, performance tuning, and deployment
• Assemble releases and help improve delivery and release processes
• Partner with the backend team to define and align on data contracts
• Own design and development for software fixes, enhancements, components, and/or new software systems and applications
• Participate in software design, coding, and code reviews; support software architects as needed
• Pilot software on new technologies
• Resolve problems through collaboration across multiple teams spanning product and design
• Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces to increase team effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent related work experience
• 5–8 years developing mobile applications for enterprise or consumer use
• At least 1 year of professional Flutter experience
• Experience working in an Agile team with product, design, QA, and development
• Strong CS fundamentals with emphasis on code quality and design patterns
• Flutter knowledge plus additional experience with Swift or Kotlin
• Networking experience with HTTP protocol and connections involving RFID, Bluetooth, and Socket connections
• Experience with REST Web Services
• Software performance optimization experience (for example, memory, CPU, and scaling)
• Experience sending and tracking notifications via Push, RFID, Bluetooth, or other technologies
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to work with an extended and diverse project team
• Detail-oriented, self-organized, and committed to quality
• Ability to work with virtual teams and collaborate across multiple sites (onsite, offshore, nearshore)
• Strong time management skills

• Location: Kissimmee, FL 34747 (Hybrid)
• Onsite/Remote: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
• Contract type: W2 only
• Term: 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full-time with the client or CEI
• Pay: USD 75–85 per hour
