Senior Embedded Developer

Nevco Sports, LLC is seeking a Senior Embedded Developer to advance the Nevco ONE platform through hands-on embedded C/C++ work and cross-functional collaboration. This onsite role in Edwardsville, Illinois centers on embedded systems across microcontroller-based devices as well as embedded Linux/Android environments, with systems design spanning Nevco hardware and legacy controllers. In this position, you will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, service, and quality teams to oversee lifecycle activities from development to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate software for embedded C microcontroller-based devices
• Develop and validate software for embedded Linux/Android devices
• Architect systems to integrate Nevco ONE hardware and software, including legacy controller products
• Coordinate across mechanical engineering, manufacturing, operations, service, and quality to manage product lifecycles

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on embedded software development in C/C++
• Embedded Linux development experience, including kernel, drivers, peripherals, and boot/upgrade processes
• Experience with Agile software development, source control, and automated testing and deployment
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration across all Nevco departments
• Self-starter who thrives in a small, fast-paced, startup-like environment
