General Dynamics Mission Systems, Inc. is building mission-critical cybersecurity devices for real-world defense applications, and this Embedded Software Engineer role supports that effort as part of a cross-functional team. You will work fully onsite at the Florham Park, NJ facility, contributing to NSA-certified systems built on custom in-house hardware.

This position centers on real-time embedded software and systems programming, with hands-on involvement in integration and testing. The team focuses on delivering high-speed data and cutting-edge cybersecurity capabilities across a rapidly growing product line.

Responsibilities

Work with custom in-house hardware for the Cyber group as part of a cross functional team developing mission critical, NSA-certified cybersecurity devices.
Contribute to software development for real-time embedded systems supporting high-speed data and advanced cybersecurity needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree plus 6 months relevant experience.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Selected applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within company facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Salary and Posting Details
