Job Description
CVS Health is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to design and deliver modern data solutions for AI, ML, and GenAI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams to deliver high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Design, integrate, and implement solutions across on-premise systems and support migrations to the cloud
- Build data foundations including pipelines, feature stores, and vector stores that enable AI-driven products
- Apply deep experience with modern programming languages to develop data solutions that increasingly support ML and generative AI use cases
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience working with SQL and relational database management systems
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud Data Engineering Platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Hands-on experience building and deploying Agentic AI solutions in complex cloud environments, including orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph, and integration with LLM APIs
- Experience building data pipelines for ML/AI workloads, including feature engineering, embedding generation, and integration with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) for RAG use cases
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices including model versioning, monitoring, and production data pipeline support (e.g., Vertex AI, SageMaker, Azure ML)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting data issues
- Hands-on experience applying performance improvement techniques
- Willingness to identify and implement process improvements and best practices, with ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based support environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including translating complex technical and AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders

- Salary: USD 92,700 - 185,400 per year
- Incentives: Eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range
