Responsibilities
- Address large-scale data warehousing challenges using AWS services to advance big data processing, data warehouse design, and self-service data access
- Contribute to automation and optimization across data warehousing, ETL maintenance, and deployment
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on non-standard and unique business problems, applying creative problem solving to deliver actionable outputs
- Build data processing systems and tools using efficient, scalable technologies that handle seasonal spikes
- Influence day-to-day decision making within the team through your work
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Proficiency in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Experience mentoring team members on data engineering best practices
