Senior Cloud Operations Solution Developer

Build monitoring and operations solutions for cloud-based DevSecOps pipeline applications as part of the Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Collaborate with the team to deliver project milestones and meet objectives
• Partner with internal and external teams to gather and implement integration requirements
• Work with Security teams to ensure solutions meet accreditation standards
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Develop comprehensive monitoring solutions for cloud-based DevSecOps pipeline applications
• Integrate new tools and improve existing insights within the Operations Dashboard ecosystem using Grafana

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph; can sponsor for a polygraph
• 8+ years of related experience (may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Ability to meet 8570 IAT Level II requirements (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA)
• Proficiency in Grafana dashboard development
• Strong Go programming experience
• Experience integrating with application APIs for metrics collection
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch
• Strong scripting skills (Shell scripting preferred; basic Python knowledge is a plus)
• Proficient with RedHat Linux
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/CI tools, especially GitLab CI
• AWS integration experience, including Lambda, EC2, and S3 (and related services)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Location: Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO (onsite)
