Senior Biometric Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply GoLang and Java expertise to design, deploy, and sustain mission-critical software systems.
• Provide technical guidance throughout concept, development, and rollout, collaborating with users to define system scope and objectives while contributing to design decisions.
• Contribute to new development and re-architecture efforts, including making system design decisions.
• Implement enhancements to existing systems, coordinate with parallel development teams, and perform QA and testing as needed.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• DHS HQ EOD clearance to start is required; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 10+ years of development experience.
• Proficiency in GoLang and Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Git, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, and Red Hat OpenShift v4.x.
• Experience with Agile development methodology.
• Knowledge of end-to-end fully automated CI/CD pipelines.
